In case you missed my posts on social media, I’m out of town until November 1, documenting the devastating impact of graffiti across a once-beautiful continent.*
I’m sorry I can’t be documenting this week’s city council budget shenanigans, which I gather are going about as smoothly as every council meeting has so far this year, but I’ll be back before the election and in plenty of time to cover the amendment process, along with more on the city’s comprehensive plan update, the election, and much more.
In the meantime, I’ll have a few posts for y’all while I’m gone—and feel free to keep sending me tips and real-time updates on the council meetings in progress.

Your blog post was like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. Thank you for brightening my mood!
I expect your graffiti comment is sarcasm. But that belies the very real problem with graffiti and the negative impacts on our communities.
Have a great break, Erica! Despite your insults, I love the grafitti you shared in this post!
